A Map Of The Best And Worst US Cities For Singles
If you are curious about how you match up as a single in your city, you might want to study this map. It’s also helpful for those who have just relocated and are planning to try some online dating in their new city. The cities that show up on this map may surprise you. Los Angeles for one has a whopping 90,000 more single men than women. Phoenix and the San Francisco Bay area are at about 65,000 more single men than women. Basically, a good chunk of the cities west of the Mississippi show a disproportionate amount of single men to single women. East of the Mississippi is a different story though. In areas like New York City and New Jersey, single women outnumber men by more than 210,000. Wow!

I met my wife outside Detroit, where the odds were greatly stacked in my favor – single women outnumber single men by some 20,000 there.
