Since it’s creation, it has become immensely popular. Alexa(the premier internet ranking system) ranks Adultfriendfinder in the top 100 most popular websites on the internet. With over 30 million members worldwide and over 70,000 new users joining each day, this is no surprise. Acquired by Penthouse Media Group in 2007, it won the prestigious Adult Industry Trade Magazine(XBIZ) award for best Dating Program of the year in 2010.

MY EXPERIENCE ON ADULTFRIENDFINDER

WHAT I LIKED

Quick and Easy Sign-Up – I was able to sign up for this service in less than 5 minutes. It was quick, easy and painless.
Many Matchmaking Options – Whether you are straight, gay, bi-sexual or bi-curious, there is something here for everyone. I was absolutely stunned at just how many matchmaking options Adultfriendfinder.com has. They have Erotic Chat/Email/Phone Fantasies, Discreet Relationships, 1-on-1 sex, Bondage and Discipline, Cross Dressing, Miscellaneous Fetishes, Exhibitionism & Voyeurism, Sadism & Masochism, Group Sex and more. Unless you are from another planet, seeking the companionship of a fellow extraterrestrial alien, I honestly think they covered all the bases on this one.
Active Chat Rooms – I have been on several Chat Rooms on other dating sites. Typically, you were lucky to find a single person in them, let alone a person of interest. I found that the Chat Rooms on Adultfriendfinder.com were incredibly diverse and active. When I visited the Lobby of the Chat Room, I received a very warm welcome from other members. When I chose to explore further by visiting the Cyber Sex, Cyber Fantasy and Interest Group Chat Rooms, I was just as impressed by the amount of activity on them. Next to Live Video, the Chat Rooms are the best places to find a match and I found several.
Live Member Broadcast – I would consider this to be the feature that sets Adultfriendfinder.com miles apart from the other dating sites. I used this feature to talk to and view other members in real time. There are no restrictions here to what you can say and do on camera. Video connects you in a way that a lot of other methods of communication can’t.
Live Model Chat – This feature is great for entertainment.
Adultfriendfinder.com has live models that you can chat with and even be entertained by through a fantasy performance of some sort. What they will do? Well, it depends. You will have to use your imagination on this one. A lot in this feature is actually free to use. Be careful though, this feature can become a little addicting.
Location, Location, Location! – I can’t tell you how surprised I was when I saw the sheer volume of matches within a few miles of where I lived. There were literally thousands of people seeking sexual relations. I honestly couldn’t believe it at first but when I got to meet these matches in real life, I was convinced. Adultfriendfinder’s membership base is so vast that no matter where you live in the world, you will find many matches nearby (assuming of course, you don’t live under a rock).

WHAT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

Chaotic Navigation – I almost felt like I was in a crossword puzzle as I navigated through the site. There is almost too much going on and it takes a while to get used to.
Suspect Profiles – While browsing, I did notice profiles of members who clearly hadn’t visited the site in a long time. If you aren’t observant, you could be misled into thinking that these members are currently active. The site needs to do a better job of removing the older and inactive profiles.
Soliciting- Every now and then I would receive a message from another member with their email or website information attached. I would click on the message and receive a response stating that the member’s profile had been removed. I never responded to these messages through my personal email nor did I visit the websites attached to these messages, but these instances of solicitation were a little irritating at times.
