A formerly single man has been dating two women, Jane and Alice, at the same time.

He has gone to great lengths to ensure that they do not know about each other.

However, in order to determine who he eventually wants to settle down with, he decides to test them.

Whoever answered the most questions correctly would be his choice.

During separate interviews, he asks them the same set of questions.

“Do you remember what I was wearing on our first date?”

They both answer correctly.

“Do you remember if I paid by cash or credit card on our second date?”

They both answer correctly.

“Do you remember what cologne I was wearing on our third date?”

They both answer correctly.

He was good at remembering names, especially of those who gave good customer service in the past.

With that in mind, the man asks this question: “Do you remember the name of the waiter who served us on our fourth date?”

In her interview, Jane responds, “I don’t remember his name.”

In her interview, Alice responds, “His name was Kenneth and he was the employee of the month.”

Curious, the man asks Alice, “How do you know that he was the employee of the month?”

Alice responds, “Because he told me that last night. Two can play this game.”
