Catching feelings for bestfriend

Ive been bestfriends with this girl for almost 3 years now, and this year i suddenly caught feelings for her, i told her once that i like her and she kept saying that she doesnt know if she wants or not and was waiting for me to convince her and she seemed tempted about it but also she kept saying no, it seemed like she had mixed feelings, but i told her i was joking because i was too nervous, and she was like thank god youre joking and she doesnt show interest in me cause she sees me as her bestfriend and my feelings keep becoming more and more, we talk almost daily and she tells me that im the only person she cares about, she really cares about me alot, what do i do?
