Feeling confused about this guy

Hey there I have been following you since forever and I have a serious question about this guy. This guy keeps looking at me from day one and when I look back he keeps that eye contact but somehow he ends up looking away at some times, i actually talked to him and he seems normal and he talks to me normally like any guy would but one time when I talked to him he stared directly into my eyes and I looked bk at him we just sat there staring into each other’s eyes and somehow I got lost in words so it was a moment where both of us didn’t talk but stared at each other’s eyes I kept that eye contact and he did too. The thing that I don’t understand is why does he keep staring into my eyes and acts normal like he isn’t interested or doesn’t care???! Btw he is a very nice guy and I’m not sure what he wants. Please help me
