How do very intelligent and ambitious guys chase women?

It’s hard to think of a good title because my question is quite vague but ever since I’ve become ambitious and intelligent by reading books, I find it harder to drop game on females. I feel that my thinking is so high that I find it hard to have a normal conversation (which doesn’t involve interview style questions).

I’m 28 but I find that I naturally get along with women who are over 35, however, most of them already have kids (and I don’t have kids yet). What should I do? Change my conversation style or just keep chasing older women until I find the right one?
