Some other time

There was this guy at work who used to greet me every morning, and he initiated the conversation with me, and used to give me compliments. I never reciprocated because I was shy. He left for two weeks and came back. He never asked about me again. I bumped into him in a coffee shop and told me to text him anytime to grab coffee together. I texted him the next day and he texted me back that hes too tired and maybe some other time. I was hurt because it was the first time I ever made a move as I’ve never been in a relationship. I’m 26 years old and just want to know should I continue pursuing this guy or he’s just turning me down nicely. It hurts me so much he hasn’t texted me back for coffee. We work in the same hospital but now different departments and never bothered to come to my department to say hi.
