This is Not about a date, but my boyfriend’s cousin

My boyfriends cousin stares at me sometimes and before I thought nothing of it but now I’m wondering why and if it’s something sexual as that would be inappropriate and just awkward but I would still need to tell my bf. I don’t want to cause a rift between them so I just need clarification first. And maybe I shouldn’t tell my bf but Idk, again that’s family(we plan on wedding soon) and I’d hate to cause a rift. If you need more info I’m willing to submit it as it’s a particularly delicate situation.

Your boyfriend’s cousin may keep staring at you because he has developed a crush on you.

He may not have a girlfriend at the moment to occupy his time and thoughts.

Without that kind of distraction, he may find himself unable to stop staring at you on a number of occasions whenever he is around you.

If this is a light crush, it may fizzle out in time if you avoid being around him for the next four to six weeks.

Try doing that for now and see if you notice a change in his behavior after those weeks have expended.
