Marvin and Theresa are a couple who have been dating for a few weeks.
They are enjoying each others’ company in a way that has left them truly grateful for having met and hopeful for the future.
Marvin decides to take Theresa on a romantic ride on his luxurious yacht. The time felt right to do it and he loves to sail.
As the luxurious yacht sets sail, Theresa excuses herself to the bathroom in the cabin below while Marvin prepares two tall glasses and a bottle of expensive champagne on the topside deck.
When she returns topside, they share a peaceful and romantic evening under the stars drinking champagne.
As the night blossoms, Theresa says, “Can I ask you a question?”
“Why do men lie?”
Marvin shrugs his shoulders. “I couldn’t tell you. I never lie to women. Honesty is the best policy in my book.”
“Really? You truly believe that?” Theresa asks.
“Are you trying to tell me that I am the only woman who has found a man who doesn’t lie?”
“I would think so,” Marvin responds confidently.
“Then I am the luckiest woman in the world.”
“The second luckiest,” Marvin responds.
“The first would be my ex-wife. She made out like a bandit.”
